FLH is committed to helping our attorneys grow not just as professionals – but also as people. Our summer associates are encouraged to take advantage of the vibrant social and cultural life of New York City and are supported in doing so. In the process, summers also will get to know their FLH peers and colleagues well – and have been known to give rave reviews about what they discover.
The program opens with a welcome breakfast with the partners in order to reintroduce our summers to the firm. This is followed by a firm-wide terrace party during Week 1, so that our summers can meet as many members of the FLH community as possible early on in the program.
Some of our most popular off-site events include an outing to a Broadway show and a class/dinner at the New York Culinary Institute. The summer class of 2009 had the unique opportunity to attend the U.S. Open golf tournament, held at Bethpage Black in June 2009, as guests of the Firm.
